right. just made the heaviest mix i’ve ever done, and also the sweetest and most fragile. sounds like the heavens crashing down in thick blankets of harmony and distortion. lovely. closed my eyes and i saw stars today. a fabric of five-pointed stars, perfectly aligned, filling my field of vision where darkness was previously.

magic night
tonight, waiting for the train home, a man came up to me. his face looked familiar. about 45, wild & haggard, clean clothes, sticky out thin blonde hair. humongous silly smile, like he’d just learned the world’s funniest joke and just *had* to share it with someone.
“rock on!” he said, in english. strange accent i couldn’t place, not swiss that’s for sure....
